FAQ
Answers for parents considering ISR lessons.
What age can children start ISR lessons?
Rollback to Float may be appropriate for infants around 6 months and older. Swim-Float-Swim is generally for walking children around 12 months and older who are developmentally ready.
How long are lessons?
ISR lessons are typically short, frequent, one-on-one sessions, often about 10 minutes per day, Monday through Thursday or Monday through Friday.
How long does the initial program take?
Families should plan for an average of about 8 weeks, depending on the child’s age, readiness, consistency, confidence, and skill development.
Do families complete National ISR Registration?
Yes. National ISR Registration is required in addition to Tadpole Tikes Swim Academy’s local enrollment requirements. Families receive the instructor-specific ISR registration link during enrollment.
Are lesson fees public?
No. Lesson fees, Zelle instructions, credit card checkout totals, and payment details are handled after inquiry or enrollment review.
Why schedule maintenance lessons?
ISR skills must be practiced to remain strong. Maintenance lessons help children retain confidence, consistency, and skill in the water.
